I wasnt starting this thread to be critical and dissect errors in a movie that i really like. I love the movie for what it is and considering when it was made (before the boom) you'd have to say its one of the best recent poker moves that has been made. You figure people would question stuff like this, which includes open raising to $1000 heads up with blinds at $25-$50, or winning $4200 in a couple of hours in 20/40 Limit Stud, instead of Mike's final bankroll.
